Aletje Van den Berg

Aletje van den Berg is an admitted Attorney and holds the position of an admitted, practicing attorney at WF Bouwer Attorneys Inc. Aletje specialises in the administration of deceased estates as well as estate planning.  She also registers testamentary trusts and, in some cases, attend to the administration of such trusts.

Aletje completed her BCom Business Management and Law Degree at the University of Potchefstroom during 2008. She obtained her LLB Law Degree also at the University of Potchefstroom in 2010.  She started her clerkship, January 2011, at a law firm in Rustenburg, known as Grobler, Levin and Soonius Inc. under the leadership of Francois Grobler. She was admitted as attorney of the high court during 2013, and she continued to act as professional assistant in this firm and managed the deceased estate department until 2015

During 2015 whist starting a new fiduciary business, Aletje enrolled herself at the University of Potchefstroom, for a master’s degree in estate law (part-time).  In 2017 she obtained the said degree.  During this time, Aletje started the mentioned fiduciary business, where she worked close with financial advisors to assist them and their clients with estate planning, drafting of wills and eventually the administration of the client’s estate.

During 2024 Aletje joined the law firm WFB attorneys as a practicing attorney. Aletje has a high work ethic and is passionate about the administration of deceased estates.  She loves being able to show empathy to the family who just lost a loved one.  Aletje tries her very best to make things easier for the clients in the most difficult time after losing a loved one.

Aletje is married to WL van den Berg and has three daughters.  Aletje is a dedicated mother and loves spending time with her children and watching their sports.
