Willem Francois Bouwer (Jnr)

Francois Bouwer is a Director of WF Bouwer Attorneys Inc and is an admitted Attorney and Notary Public.

Francois completed his LLB Law Degree at the University of Pretoria in 2012 and started his clerkship at WF Bouwer Attorneys the same year, under the leadership and guidance of Willem Bouwer. Francois was admitted as Attorney in 2013 and further admitted as Notary in 2014, the same year he was awarded right of appearance in the High Court.

In 2022, Francois obtained his Advanced Diploma in Trust and Estate Administration (cum laude) at the University of Free State, a compulsory course to obtain the status as a registered Fiduciary Practitioner of South Africa (FPSA®) at FISA.

Francois is the head of the Special Trust division in the firm and takes pride in maintaining a good relationship with Trust Beneficiaries. He also administers deceased estates and attend to Notary related services.

Francois is a member of FISA (Fiduciary Institute of Southern Africa) and stands to receive the title as a registered Fiduciary Practitioner of South Africa (FPSA®).

Francois was elected as an Executive Committee Member of the Pretoria Attorneys Association and the Gauteng Attorneys Association in 2022 and serves on the Master’s Office Portfolio.

His responsibilities as an Exco Member are to engage with the Master Pretoria and Master Johannesburg on behalf of Pretoria, Johannesburg and West Rand Attorneys and create change where needed.  

Furthermore, Francois serves on the Master’s Office National Task Team that is represented by different South African associations (such as SARIPA, BASA, SAWLA, FISA, LPC, SAICA, different attorneys associations) that acts in the fiduciary field.

Francois is married and has a passion for sports, nature and especially the Kruger National Park.  He is a compassioned person and strives to serve other people to the best of his ability.
