Willem Francois Bouwer (Jnr)
Francois Bouwer is an admitted Attorney and Notary Public and holds the position of Director at WF Bouwer Attorneys Inc. Francois is the head of the Special Trust division in the firm and takes pride in maintaining a good relationship with Trust Beneficiaries. He also administers deceased estates and attend to Notary related services.
Francois completed his LLB Law Degree at the University of Pretoria in 2012 and started his clerkship at WF Bouwer Attorneys the same year, under the leadership and guidance of Willem Bouwer. Francois was admitted as Attorney in 2013 and further admitted as Notary in 2014, the same year he was awarded right of appearance in the High Court.
In 2022, Francois obtained his Advanced Diploma in Trust and Estate Administration (cum laude) at the University of Free State, a compulsory course to obtain the status as a registered Fiduciary Practitioner of South Africa (FPSA®) at FISA.
Francois is a member of FISA (Fiduciary Institute of Southern Africa) and holds the the title as a registered Fiduciary Practitioner of South Africa (FPSA®).
Francois served on numerous professional Executive committees, namely: the Pretoria Attorneys Association (2022 – 2024) ; the Gauteng Attorneys Association (2022 – 2024) ; the LSSA National Estates and Trust Committee (2023) ; the Chief Master’s National Stakeholders Committee (since 2022). Francois is also serving on the National Disciplinary Committee of FISA since 2024.
By serving on the variety of committees, Francois has gained significant experience in the management field of the Master’s Office and has built up excellent relationships with various stakeholders in the fiduciary field.
Francois is married and has a passion for sports, nature and especially the Kruger National Park. Francois is a compassionate person who strives to serve others to the best of his ability.
